Raise an Anomaly Zones: Progression Order & Speed Gates
How Raise an Anomaly zones progress: the starting lab, treadmill Speed gates, observed recommendations from 1,000 to the billions, and what secret egg zone notices mean.
Quick answer
Raise an Anomaly zones are the map slices you steal eggs from and the lab you run home to. New players begin in a small lab with one nearby steal, and moving to farther guarded zones is gated by your treadmill-trained Speed — the higher a guard's recommended speed, the deeper the zone.
- The official page never prints a zone list — treat any zone order as observed, not official.
- Official art shows a crib, a hallway, a bath, and a containment-style room with a red moon; those are the visual language of the first hours, not a labelled floor plan.
- Stay in the starting area until one anomaly is hatched and feeding — dying on a deeper steal before your plot pays is how first sessions stall.
What gates entry to farther zones
Community wikis report that a treadmill Speed stat decides which zone you can enter. That rule is not stated on the official store page, but it matches how players describe the game in footage: get faster, then steal farther. In practice, some guarded areas display a recommended speed, and guards can catch or knock back an underprepared player.
Requirements rise sharply from one guard to the next, so trust the live label in your current server rather than any saved zone table. If a door, wall, or guardian stops you, train Speed before blaming the egg — the lab priority is simply: if you cannot steal, upgrade Speed. Use the treadmill to prepare for one guard at a time, and a good rule is to move up only when the previous guard has become comfortably escapable. Get comfortable with the early guards before pushing into areas with much higher speed warnings.
Observed zone order and recommended speeds
The ladder below collects observed recommended speeds from gameplay footage. These are not official requirements — values can differ between servers and updates, so always defer to the live label at the guard.
Comparison
| Order | Area | Observed Recommended Speed | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Starting steal | 1,000 | First guarded area; one run noted the recommended speed here was only 1,000. |
| 2 | Next guard | 10,000 | Named as the step past the 1,000 area in two runs. |
| 3 | Early shiny target | 25,000 | A shiny egg guarded at this recommendation in one run. |
| 4 | Mid guard | 50,000 | A player just under 50k could not steal here and trained first. |
| 5 | Guard before Zone 3 | 170,000 | Observed as a guard's recommendation shortly before the Zone 7 notice in one run. |
| 6 | Zone 3 | 200,000 | Explicitly named “Zone three” at this recommendation. |
| 7 | Deeper guard | 250,000 | Stealable once the player reached 250,000 speed. |
| 8 | Far guard | 20 million | Reached after heavy treadmill upgrading in the longest run. |
| 9 | Farthest guard asked about | 750 million | The player called the recommendation cap, then kept finding higher guards beyond it. |
| 10 | Final guard / end of map | 2–2.5 billion | End-of-map readings currently differ between runs — see below. |
The far end of the map is currently inconsistent between observed runs. One states two billion speed is needed to reach the end and failed a 2.5 billion recommendation at exactly two billion; another reached and stole at the end around two billion after further speed purchases. Treat roughly two billion as the attempt point, expect a recommendation of up to about 2.5 billion, and read the guard's live label when you arrive.
How far the numbered zones go: Zone 7, Zone 8, and the end of the map
The clearest numbered-zone signal so far is the secret egg server notice: one observed notice announced that a secret egg had spawned in zone seven, and players in other sessions saw the same zone 7 message and had to ask where it was. A Zone 8 label also appears, but one player concluded they could not enter it yet.
Treat Zone 7 as a captured signal, not a complete atlas: it is not the last zone and not a boss arena — the game has no official bosses, and the official Roblox page lists none, with 0 badges. Numbered zones should only be trusted as far as a sign or UI has captured them; until then, “higher” just means farther from your lab and harder to escape.
Reacting to a secret egg zone notice: the ten-second check
Secret eggs can be announced through an in-game server notice that names the active zone. Do not chase every notice automatically — run this check:
Redeem steps
- Read the named zone
Do not search the whole map when the message has already narrowed it down.
- Compare the route with your speed
A distant spawn behind faster guards can waste the whole opportunity.
- Check your base space
You still need somewhere to hatch and place the result.
- Drop routine tasks
Buying food can wait if the notice is time sensitive.
- Commit or skip
If you cannot reach the zone safely, keep building speed for the next notice.
Preparing for a zone notice — and what it does not guarantee
Tips
Open hatch position
Lets you secure the egg immediately at home.
Trained movement speed
Expands the zones you can contest.
Known route back
Reduces time spent carrying the egg in public.
Free anomaly slot
Prevents a base-management delay after hatching.
A notice does not confirm the exact creature that will hatch, guaranteed income or rarity, a fixed spawn interval, a permanent zone rotation, or exclusive ownership for the first player who sees the message. A “secret egg” label only tells you that a special spawn event is active; treat the live server as the authority, and remember Speed decides whether the theft works at all.
The New Zone (16 September 2026)
The only official zone name on record is “New Zone”. The creator group shout on 16 September 2026 announced it together with the new Merge Machine, Fairy Cake food, and Admin Abuse scheduled for Saturday 19 September 2026 at 1:30 PM. It is tied to that patch window, not a published map entry, so recheck the zone order, map layout, and progression requirements once it lands. Bring Speed and an empty plot slot if you intend to steal there during the event.
Zone run conditions on 5-player servers
A zone run is steal, escape, hatch, feed — not a campaign mission. Servers cap at 5 players, so traffic around a popular crib can be the real hazard. If the New Zone is crowded during Admin Abuse, complete one steal and leave; repeatable cash in your lab beats a graveyard of unhatched eggs.
