Raise an Anomaly New Zone: Access Window, Prep, and What Shipped
The Raise an Anomaly New Zone was announced 16 September 2026 with a first access window at the Admin Abuse event on 19 September. Get the documented Speed and plot prep, the one-steal-then-leave tactic, and what shipped alongside it.
Quick answer
Raise an Anomaly's newest area is officially named just the New Zone, announced in the creator group shout on 16 September 2026. Its first announced public access window is the Admin Abuse event: Saturday 19 September 2026 at 1:30 PM. Prep for it by training Speed on the treadmill and clearing an empty plot slot for a stolen egg.
- Shipped alongside the zone: a New Merge Machine, the new food Fairy Cake, and a new code (redeems 1 Fairy Cake).
- 'New Zone' is temporary naming — the only official name announced so far.
- Access is only announced for the Admin Abuse hour; conditions outside that window haven't been announced.
What the New Zone is and when it was added
The creator group shout on 16 September 2026 announced a New Zone together with a New Merge Machine, the new food Fairy Cake, a new code (1 Fairy Cake), and the Admin Abuse event scheduled Saturday 19 September 2026 at 1:30 PM. That shout is the zone's entire official paper trail so far: it tied the area to that patch window, and it is still the only place the zone has been officially named. No canonical zone name or published zone list has replaced the temporary "New Zone" name yet.
How to access the New Zone
Community wikis and player videos describe a treadmill Speed stat as deciding which zone you can enter — get faster, then steal farther. That rule is not printed on the official store page, so treat it as community-reported, and players haven't pinned down a specific Speed number for the New Zone yet; watch which zone gates open for you in-game. What the announcement material does spell out is the prep:
Roadmap
- 1
Train Speed on the treadmill
Meet the stat the community says opens farther zones
- Grind Speed before planning the run — player wikis report the treadmill Speed stat decides which zone you can enter
- 2
Clear an empty plot slot
Give a stolen egg somewhere to hatch
- Free a plot slot before you steal in the New Zone
- 3
Keep the lab earning while you're away
Don't lose income during the event hour
- Feed your earner
- Restock food
- 4
Redeem the current code before 1:30 PM
Bank the code while it still works
- Enter the current code from the Codes page in the SHOP before the hour if you still have it, so you're not typing codes in a crowded SHOP
- 5
Skip the event if you're still in the tutorial
Don't learn the game under Admin Abuse pressure
- If you're still in the first-zone tutorial at 1:20, sit this one out — a five-player server plus Admin Abuse is a terrible classroom
One boundary to keep in mind: the gate being open is only announced for the Admin Abuse hour on 19 September 2026. Outside that window, whether and how the New Zone can be entered hasn't been announced.
Using the New Zone during the Admin Abuse event
The New Zone's first announced public window is the Admin Abuse event, listed with NEW ZONE in the same 16 September shout. Play the hour as a hit-and-run:
Mechanic flow
- 1
Show up in the window
The announced access hour
- Be in a server on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 1:30 PM, when NEW ZONE access is scheduled
- 2
Take one steal, then leave
Beat the crowd
- If the gate is open, take one New Zone steal, return to your lab, and hatch it
- Servers cap at 5 players — if the New Zone is crowded, complete one steal and leave: repeatable cash in your lab beats a graveyard of unhatched eggs
- 3
Protect your only earner
Don't let cheap-looking replacements tempt you
- Do not Merge your only earner just because replacements look cheap during the event
- 4
Capture unseen panels
Real tables are still being collected from the event
- Screenshot any Merge, Food, or Speed panel you have never seen
- 5
Resume the normal loop after the hour
Event changes are temporary
- Economy values snap back after the hour — anomalies you merged away stay gone and food you wasted stays wasted, so get back to the normal loop immediately
What's actually confirmed about the New Zone's contents
What is confirmed about the New Zone's contents is narrow. The official page never prints a zone list, so there is no published map or egg list for the new area — its own eggs, guardians, and rewards simply are not public yet.
The naming also doesn't line up with numbered zones you may see elsewhere. The only numbered-zone report is a community wiki's mention of Zone 7 in a secret-egg notice, and nothing currently ties Zone 7 to this new area. Don't treat Zone 7 as the last zone or a boss arena either — the game has no official bosses. Numbered zone names only become real once a sign or UI label is captured in-game, so that is the thing to watch for when a canonical name eventually replaces "New Zone".
For the event window itself: rewards for the hour were not listed in the announcement, and don't expect a badge — the experience has 0 badges.
